KEEPING YOU INFORMED

RECYCLING IN THE VILLAGE

As some of you may know, the Village Board of Trustees have changed our recycling center.

We now have four 8 yard containers which are emptied weekly, every Friday. There are many notices posted inside and on the fence of the recycling center, however we have provided a flyer with the information which you can download and/or print for your convenience.

This flyer is to better understand what can and cannot go into these container. All violaters will be prosecuted and subject to a fine.

This service is provided for the Village and Town of Fort Edward residents ONLY. The recycling center is under surveillance 24/7. If you do not live in the Town/Village of Fort Edward and are using the center, you will be ticketed and subject to a fine.

Please click below to get your flyer.

WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF

PROJECT LIFE SAVER - Project Lifesaver is a program designed to help individuals affected with Autism and other developmental disabilities who may wander or get lost. Project Lifesaver uses state-of-the-art technology, employing wristband transmitters to locate wandering and lost children and adults.

When a Project Lifesaver client is discovered to be missing, a caregiver will report the situation to the Sheriff's Office and specially trained deputies will respond to begin searching for the missing person using Project Lifesaver radio-frequency tracking equipment.

Project Lifesaver is a voluntary program.
